Commencing in 1966 with an initial establishment of only 25 students, the High School and Junior College has undergone substantial growth. In the present academic year, the student body has expanded significantly, totaling 851 students distributed amongst 20 divisions. This growth is supported by a dedicated faculty of 34 teachers. The Junior College was established in 1974 and has added to the educational landscape. Noteworthy is the impressive SSC result for the current year, standing at an outstanding 92.37%, HSC Science at 72.30%, HSC Arts at 57.62% and HSC Commerce at 69.62%.

The school organises various activities throughout the year for the academic and overall growth of the children. This includes Annual School Council and Science Club which involves students’ participation. In order to inculcate values and discipline amongst students, the school also has co – curricular and extra – curricular activities such as Scouts and Guides, RSP, Social Service, NCC, etc.

As per the Government guidelines, free and compulsory education is provided in the school for students from std 5th to 12th. Also, financial assistance is provided to the needy students. In Social Service League, we care for the all – round development of the children. Owing to which, various competitions, events, etc are organised by the school. Also, to build cultural interests amongst students, festivals are also celebrated in the school. The importance of each festival is taught and the information regarding the same is also provided to the students.

The year 2023 – 24 has marked for many laurels to the school in academics as well as in sports and other activities.
